Start with a property tax screening so we can quote the right fee
Use this form to tell us about your property tax issue, the service you need and any deadlines or HMRC correspondence. We carry out an initial assessment first, then quote the fee before asking for ID, proof of address, engagement letter approval and onboarding verification.
Smart screening before quote
Service matrix by tax issue
Risk questions for HMRC and deadlines
Secure onboarding after fee approval
Tell us what type of property tax help you need
The first screening questions help us decide whether the matter is simple compliance, ongoing support, advisory work, disclosure work, or a higher-risk HMRC issue.
After this form
We review your enquiry, ask short clarification questions if needed, quote the fee, then request ID, proof of address and onboarding verification before work starts.
We assess, quote and onboard before technical work starts
This protects both the client and the firm. It helps us avoid underquoting complex matters, identify HMRC risk early and request the right records before advice, filing or disclosure work begins.

Questions before booking a consultation
These answers explain why we ask screening questions and how the quote and onboarding process works.
Why do you ask if this is the first year of receiving rent?
First-year rental cases often need extra checks, including ownership date, letting start date, expenses, mortgage interest, deposit treatment, MTD position and whether HMRC registration is needed.
Why do you ask about limited companies and SPVs?
A property SPV may need accounts, CT600, bookkeeping, director loan review, payroll, dividends and Companies House filing. The work is different from an individual landlord tax return.
Do I need to send ID with the enquiry?
Not usually at the first enquiry stage. After the fee and scope are agreed, we request ID, proof of address, engagement approval and onboarding verification before work starts.
Can you quote from this form?
Often yes for straightforward cases. If the matter involves missing records, multiple years, HMRC letters, overseas structures or complex transactions, we may quote an initial review first.
What if HMRC has already contacted me?
Tell us the date of the HMRC letter, the deadline and what HMRC is asking for. We may need to review the letter before quoting the next stage.
