Clear property tax fees with monthly, quarterly and annual options
Property Accountant offers transparent “from” prices for landlords, property SPVs, sole traders, LLPs, companies and non-resident property owners. Bookkeeping is usually monthly, VAT and MTD are usually quarterly, and tax returns or accounts are usually annual.
Monthly bookkeeping from £50 + VAT
Quarterly MTD from £150 + VAT
Tax returns from £300 + VAT
SPV accounts and CT600 from £750 + VAT
Pay for the work pattern that matches the tax work
Property tax work is not all billed in the same way. Monthly fees work well for bookkeeping and ongoing support. Quarterly fees work well for VAT, MTD and CIS. Annual fees work well for tax returns, company accounts, partnership returns and CT600s. One-off fees work best for registrations, CGT, SDLT, NRL applications and tax advisory reviews.

Useful where records need regular processing, reconciliation or payroll support.
VAT, MTD and CIS

Monthly, quarterly and annual fees should follow the work cycle
The most sensible fee structure is usually linked to how often the work is needed. That keeps cash flow easier for the client and makes sure compliance work is not left until the last minute.

These prices are guide prices, not a quote
A final quote is only given after we understand the records, tax years, number of properties, deadlines, transaction volume, HMRC history and whether the work is compliance, advice or both.
What can increase the fee?
Missing records, multiple years, multiple properties, overseas income, company structures, VAT, payroll, HMRC enquiries or urgent deadlines.
What can reduce the fee?
Clean records, one income stream, software access, clear bank feeds, no HMRC issues and early document submission.
Can fees be paid monthly?
Yes. Many recurring packages can be paid monthly, while one-off work is normally paid before work starts or in agreed stages.

Questions about Property Accountant fees
Fees are easier to quote when we understand the structure, records and deadlines. These answers explain how our pricing normally works.
Are these fixed prices?
No. These are guide “from” prices. We give a proper quote after an initial assessment of the work, records, deadlines, complexity and tax years involved.
Do the prices include VAT?
Unless stated otherwise, prices are shown excluding VAT. VAT is added where applicable.
Can I pay monthly?
Yes. Monthly payment is usually available for ongoing packages such as bookkeeping, payroll, landlord support, SPV accounting and company compliance.
Why is bookkeeping monthly but VAT and MTD quarterly?
Bookkeeping is usually an ongoing monthly process. VAT and MTD updates are normally submitted quarterly, so they are often priced quarterly unless included in a monthly package.
Do you charge more for messy records?
Yes, where records require reconstruction, correction, analysis or additional time. Clean digital records normally keep the fee lower.
Do you quote HMRC enquiries upfront?
We usually quote an initial review first. Once the facts, HMRC letters, years involved and records are reviewed, we can quote the next stage more accurately.
